Eisteddfods are encouraged and special troupes have been established for this purpose. Students dance at various Eisteddfods such as the Northern Beaches, Sydney City, Ryde Eisteddfod and Extreme Eisteddfods. Students are invited to join an Eisteddfod group towards the the end of each year.
Additional Eisteddfod rehearsals and holiday workshops will be held.
Possible Eisteddfods are:
- Northern Beaches Eisteddfod – Jazz and Contemporary are on any Saturday beginning 26th April, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th or 31st May. Ballet group and solos are on any Sunday beginning 27th April, 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th May and June 1st. Your performance could fall on any one of these dates. Please don’t plan an activity until you are notified of the official competition date.
- Sydney City Eisteddfod – anytime June to September
- Extreme Eisteddfod – usually June
- Ryde Eisteddfod – June to August
